• 100 percent success rate with federal to state charter conversions.


• Credit union with 2 percent net worth improved to above 9 percent in 2010.

Grants

Many of the credit unions we work with are eligible for grant money upwards of $100,000. Our grant writing record is stellar. The results of CU Strategic Planning's grant writing:

• The only credit union grant writers with winning applications in EVERY round of the Department of the Treasury, Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) Fund Awards during the last several years.


• Responsible for 20 percent of all  CDFI Fund Awards for credit unions in 2010.


• The only firm working with non-certified CDFI's to gain $100,000 awards before certification, including the only  two non-certified CDFI credit unions to win awards in 2010. 


• Wrote the largest of the only two credit union grants awarded from the the CDFI Fund in the 2010 NACA round.


• Wrote the largest grant awarded to a credit union  from the CDFI Fund in the 2009 Supplemental Round.


• Wrote the only CDFI Fund applications funded in 2010 in Hawaii, Alaska and Washington State.


• Multi-million dollar, multi-year grant, the largest in the history of the National Credit Union Foundation, was introduced by CU Strategic Planning founder to fund Biz Kid$.


• The only writers to have 100 percent success in writing NCUA Building Internal Capacity Grants.
